About Us

Welcome to Nishica Farm!

We are an organic farm in San Juan Bautista, California, growing speciality apples and citrus. We started in 2019 with building soil using cover crops.  Our first trees in the orchard were planted in 2021.  We also grow a small select variety of vegetables, flowers and lavender.

We have been selling our apples, citrus and lavender via farmers markets as well as through the farm box service run by the nonprofit Tera Farm.

In 2025, we started offering select organic vegetable and flower plants to home gardens to leverage the expertise of one of our team members, who had been growing seedlings for farmers in the area for many years. We now offer plants for pick up at the farm and at select pick up sites in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Monterey Peninsula area. 

We love you to visit the farm to pick up your plants and learn more about our farm (Join Tera Farm run farm tours in June) You can enjoy a tour and a U-pick of any items available. In addition to the farm, we offer convenient local pickup locations throughout the Bay Area, making it easy to get fresh transplants for your home garden. See the FAQ above for more.
